Carat Shine at The Media Trust Triathlon
Last Friday, 8 June, several members of Carat staff took part in the Media Trust Triathlon at Eton Dorney in Windsor.
The annual event, created specifically for the media and advertising industry, was organised in partnership with Dentsu Aegis Network, Google and Sky Media in order to raise money for the Media Trust. The trust aims to provide vital communication support to charities, communities and young people across the UK.
In addition to the Olympic-level triathlon, the organisers also included several shorter versions and team events.
Asha Cowell, an integrated planner at Carat, participated in the super sprint category and won the bronze medal after completing a 400m swim, 10k cycle and 2.5k run.
A Carat team took on the ‘sprint relay’ event with Joanne Hurley, innovation manager, doing the 750m swim Stuart Newman, chief marketing officer, taking on the 20k cycle and Marcella Dalenogari, associate client director, tackling the 5k run.
