The world’s first media agency. Built to challenge the average.

Carat helped establish the practice of media planning and buying. That pioneering spirit still defines us, but our purpose is not to celebrate the tools of media. It is to use the craft of media to engineer lasting brands and create measurable value for clients.

As media becomes more automated, fragmented and shaped by algorithms, brands risk becoming easier to deliver but harder to distinguish. Carat helps brands define and amplify what makes them valuable. We combine human judgement with data, technology, culture and disciplined execution, connecting global capability with local relevance to turn intentional difference into growth.

Laura leads client service at Carat UK, setting the standard for how the agency works with every client and ensuring that partnership shows up in their business results.

She joined Carat in July 2026 from Jellyfish, where she was Vice President of Client Leadership for the UK and EMEA and worked with brands including Sony Electronics, The AA and Suzuki. Before that, she held senior roles at OMD UK and EMEA and at Starcom MediaVest, leading communications planning for PepsiCo, SC Johnson and Hasbro. In all, she has nearly 20 years of senior agency experience.

Managing Director - People

Andrea leads Carat UK's people agenda, shaping how the agency attracts, develops and keeps its talent. She also continues to lead the Leeds office, where she has built strong client partnerships across the region.

She joined Carat in 2004 as a broadcasting graduate, when the Leeds office had just six people. Over more than 20 years, she has worked through TV, radio and cinema planning and buying roles, and has grown with the agency as both the industry and Carat's network have changed.

Andrea has always been passionate about developing talent, and her new role puts that at the centre of what she does, alongside her focus on client relationships, innovation and growth.
