Mike McCoy

Mike McCoy

UK President

Mike leads Carat's UK business, using pioneering media to build modern businesses and connect brands with people who matter.

With over 25 years at dentsu, Mike has held several key leadership positions, including launching Amplifi and The Story Lab (dentsu's trading and content offerings), serving as CEO of Vizeum UK, and most recently as Chief Growth Officer for dentsu Media. Throughout his career, he has partnered with major global clients across automotive, entertainment, sports, finance, and FMCG sectors.

As UK President, Mike sits on dentsu Media's Executive Leadership Team and the Senior Leadership Team of dentsu UK&I.

Matt Willifer

Matt Willifer

Chief Strategy Officer

Matt leads Carat's strategic vision, blending media, creative, and technological expertise to design innovative solutions that connect brands with people.

His diverse background includes serving as Chief Strategy Officer across both media and creative agencies, with leadership positions at DDB, M&C Saatchi, and Engine. Matt brings entrepreneurial experience as the former CEO of a games company developing bespoke brand experiences. As a past president of the Account Planning Group, he has championed strategic excellence across the industry.

During his five years at Carat, Matt has been instrumental in developing the Designing For People framework, fostering cross-capability collaboration, and establishing thought leadership on AI and the algorithmic era.

Flora Kong

Flora Kong

Client Managing Director, London

Flora leads client services for several UK clients, leveraging her diverse industry experience to create meaningful brand-consumer connections.

With over 20 years of marketing expertise, Flora has worked across media owners, client-side, and agency roles. Her career includes insights work at Australian publishing houses, client-side positions at Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Santander, and agency leadership at Zenith before joining dentsu UK. She has successfully led teams serving major accounts including Camelot and Co-operative Group.

As co-chair of Dentsu UK&I's gender network ONE, Flora champions gender representation at all levels. Her initiative to support female confidence through funded coaching programmes continues to make a significant impact, and she was recently recognised in Campaign's 40 over 40 (2024) for her contributions to client growth and DEI initiatives.

Jon leads Carat's client partnerships, delivering innovative media solutions that drive business growth for prominent UK brands.

During his 20-year tenure at Carat, Jon has partnered with major clients across diverse sectors including travel, financial services, government communications, and technology. His client portfolio includes household names such as Direct Line Group, Vodafone, Santander, British Gas, British Airways, and Legal & General.

Jon is a founding member of dentsu's Parent and Carers network, whose work has led to dentsu being recognised as one of the UK's Top Employers for Working Families by the charity Working Families.

Charles Reid

Client Managing Director, Manchester

Charles leads Carat's Manchester office, driving pioneering media solutions that connect brands with their key audiences.

With 25 years at Carat, Charles has developed deep expertise in brand response, partnerships, and digital transformation across diverse sectors. He has progressed through multiple leadership roles, from broadcast to client services, before taking responsibility for the Manchester office.

A figurehead in Manchester's marketing scene, Charles heads a leadership team overseeing 70+ professionals, with responsibility for revenue, margin, and growth. Beyond client work, he serves as Co-chair of Proud, dentsu's LGBTQ+ network, sits on the board of the Manchester Publicity Association, and is a dedicated NABS and Outvertising mentor.

Andrea Potter

Andrea leads Carat's Leeds client leadership function, delivering media excellence while building strong client partnerships in the region.

Joining Carat in 2004 as a broadcasting graduate when the Leeds office had just six people, Andrea has progressed through various roles in TV, radio, and cinema planning and buying over her 20+ year career. She has embraced the pace of change and network expansion, continuously enhancing service offerings for clients.

Andrea is passionate about talent development, client relationships, and driving innovation and growth.

Chris Marsh

Chris Marsh

Client Managing Director, Edinburgh

Chris leads Carat's Edinburgh business, partnering with clients to deliver innovative media solutions for the Scottish market.

His career began at Scottish & Newcastle, holding several brand management roles before becoming Marketing Director at The Caledonian Brewing Company. Chris later moved to financial services as head of sponsorship at RBS Group, focusing on reputation management during challenging times for the sector.

In 2017, Chris brought his client-side perspective to Carat as Client Managing Director of the Edinburgh office. A respected industry voice, Chris is a Fellow of the Marketing Society Scotland and regularly contributes as an Advisory Board member and Student Marketing Society mentor.
