Matt Willifer

Matt joined Carat as Chief Strategy Officer in February 2020. He is responsible for ensuring a high level of strategic thinking across the agency and helping all Carat clients build their businesses through brave, innovative ideas. He joined from Engine, where he was CSO – and before that, he was CSO of WCRS, Engine’s creative agency. He has been Head of Strategy at M&C Saatchi, Chair of the APG – the not-for-profit organisation for planners and strategists – and also CEO at a gaming company. He started his career at BMP DDB.
