Jo and her team manage some of Carat Manchester's largest retail clients and deliver a full end to end service to media planning and activation from briefing to campaign evaluation across all channels.
Jo's approach is to work in full partnership with her clients. She makes it a priority to know her client’s business in detail which helps to produce highly effective, optimised media solutions which deliver results. She often consults in many areas of her client’s business outside of media including creative direction, IT scoping and proposition work. She particularly enjoys the collaborative and innovative culture here at Carat.
Jo started her career at MMU doing a Retail Marketing degree. As part of her placement she worked in the marketing department for N Brown and her favourite element of the job was media. There Jo met some great people and was lucky to be offered holiday jobs at the media agency throughout my university years. When she graduated, Jo was offered a placement at McCann Erikson and that’s how it all began. To date, the proudest moment of her career has been winning a big pitch just weeks after returning to work after a year off with her second child (and no sleep!).
When she's not in the office Jo likes to spend time with her husband and two young daughters Matilda and Martha, with the odd night out with friends (this used to be clubbing now more dinner and drinks). Jo loves to shop, listen to music and s a big TV fan!
