Matt is responsible for making sure the business and account leadership at Carat is second to none, and that we continually evolve and focus on building progressive and brave partnerships with the amazing clients we work with. With over 20 years of UK and European client leadership experience, Matt is passionate about the role that great account leadership plays in growing a client’s business and committed to developing the senior relationships, capabilities and talent we need to meet this expectation.
Joining Carat as a graduate in 1996, Matt spent the first nine years of his career working in a range of investment roles which culminated in him joining the Aegis Trading Board and leading group level negotiations for radio. In 2005 Matt switched his focus to communications planning and then account leadership taking responsibility for clients including Kellogg’s, General Motors, Arla Foods, Disney Parks, Santander and Debenhams as well as leading and winning a number of significant pitches.
