The MPA Inspiration Awards are an annual celebration of the great work produced by agencies and media owners across Manchester, and with the city the largest hub for media and creative agencies outside of London, competition to take top spot is fierce.
That’s why it’s a cause for celebration that three Carat clients took the top spot for the work we’ve produced with them through partnerships in 2019.
First up at the MPA Awards was the category for best creative campaign, and our collaboration with TI Media to bring JD Williams and Woman & Home together for the Amazing Women Awards took first place. The cross-platform campaign honours women aged 50 plus who are making a difference, be it in business, the arts or across social media with the campaign content spanning from May to December.
The success for TI Media and Carat didn’t end there, as Welcome to Yorkshire and TI Media scooped first place in the Best Sales Team Campaign category for Alive With Adventure. The campaign, through a combination of print & digital content, rich media and social activity across multiple TI Media brands, positioned North York Moors National Park as the ideal destination to indulge viewers passions – from family breaks to indulgent foody getaways.
Keeping with the theme of outdoor adventure, the top prize in the Collaboration category was scooped by Reach Solutions and The Story Lab Manchester for their work with Carat client, Halfords. The partnership enabled us to reach Halfords' audience both nationally and regionally, delivering localised and relevant content inspiring people to get out and enjoy the outdoors and rely on Halfords to provide them with everything they need.
We also want to extend our congratulations to sister agency, BJL who took home the much-deserved award for Creative agency of the year (25+ employees). These awards and partnerships really showcase the capabilities of our network, and how we can utilise these to create innovative and award-winning work for our clients.
