2022 Cannes Lions Recap

This year, Cannes Lions brought together global advertising leaders to celebrate excellence and showcase industry innovation. CEOs, CMOs, and the world’s most awarded creatives convened in the South of France to discuss the role of creativity in driving our industry forward.

As the first in-person Cannes in two years, it was more important than ever for us to celebrate what we value in this connected world. This year's festival focused on global priorities identified by the industry: sustainability, diversity and inclusion (DE&I), talent development & education, data and technology, business transformation, and creative effectiveness.

Cannes Lions has always been a place to recognize the best of what our industry has to offer. But this year, it was a great reminder of just how much we've changed as a community in the last two years—and the insights we've gained in the process. There was a commitment to being leaders in innovation, a dedication to diversity—most importantly there was a focus on using creativity to create lasting impact and be a force for good.
