Robotics company Anki has selected Carat USA as its U.S. media agency of record.
The incumbent agency was Noble People. There was no formal pitch.
Carat will be responsible for media strategy, planning and buying to support the company’s consumer robotics products including its battle-racing game, "Anki Overdrive." The first campaign will be launching this summer.
Carat and Anki were already familiar with one another since Carat handles the global company's business in the U.K. and Germany.
Carat was selected for the U.S. based on its experience working with companies within the Silicon Valley region, including their past experience with clients such as Sony PlayStation and Sony Mobile as well as Disney Parks and Resorts.
