Carat retains and expands relationship with Smucker's across North America

It was announced today that J.M. Smucker selected Carat as their consolidated North American media agency after a review that began in November. Carat retained media planning and buying duties for Smucker’s in the US while adding both planning and buying for the Canadian market and will work with iProspect and Amnet to establish Smucker’s North American infrastructure.

The pitch came on the heels of Smucker’s acquisition of Big Heart Pet Brands, which includes brands like Meow Mix, Kibbles ‘n Bits and Milk Bone, and their desire for an enterprise-wide consolidation across North America.
