The vision for our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, Future Proof, is to not only become a more responsible business but also to inspire positive action by everyone we come into contact with and together redefine the value of media. Future Proof means doing the right thing in our day-to-day business. We have the scope and reach to make a positive impact on society using the power of advertising.
We want to play an active role in strengthening our communities and in preserving the environment where we operate. Here are some examples of how we are working with the community in Newcastle.
Baking for a cause
We firmly believe that we can have our cake and eat it; so we do! Whilst the star bakers amongst us showcase their amazing baking skills the rest of us dig in, raising money for the great causes we choose to support, from Macmillan to supporting our local Maggie’s Centre.
Right to Read
We've all agreed that children are our future, that's why we’ve partnered with The Prince’s Charities to deliver the Right to Read scheme in our local schools, helping primary school children develop their reading and language skills on a 1-2-1 basis.
The Code is a network-wide initiative that brings together the power of our people across our network to make a positive impact on society and the next generation of talent. We share our own experiences, enthusiasm and expertise to inspire future talent.
