Betsy has spent more than 20 years in finance roles, 10 of which have been spent within the advertising industry. Betsy joined Carat in 2016 as SVP, Director of Finance and has recently assumed the role of CFO for Carat USA.
Prior to her role at Carat, Betsy was at the Interpublic Group (IPG) where she held various positions within the network, the most recent being the CFO of FCB NY. In her role, Betsy oversees all financial operations of the US offices of Carat serving as the lead financial contact for Carat’s clients across multiple locations. She holds a BS in Business and an MBA in Accounting.
Ed has 23 years marketing experience with a concentration in media communications management. He has extensive experience across categories of Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods, Technology, E-Commerce as well as Financial Services – his focus is fast paced business and delivering innovation. At Carat, he manages large and complex account assignments across geographies and is driven to create client innovations and harmonious integration with partner agencies.
Ed has a client reputation of diplomacy, open collaboration and management. His teams are known for delivery excellence. Ed was previously the CMO of Omnicom’s OMD where he was responsible for global account management and the utilization of Branded Entertainment, Multicultural and Sports Marketing. He also has worked in integrated advertising agencies; DDB, Ammirati & Puris and Wells, Rich Greene. Ed also has worked in retail point of purchase display design and implementation. He enjoys sports, travel and technology.
Diane Harrison has over 15 years of experience leading talent management and engagement for media and advertising agencies. Diane's specialty is with employee experience and she strives to provide an environment that is welcoming, inclusive and beneficial for all. Diane’s passion is growing and developing talent by continually advancing careers, whether it is through breath or depth of responsibilities.
Prior to joining Dentsu Aegis Network, Diane served as an SVP, Human Resources at Publicis Health.
Mark Mylan is the Executive Vice President, Managing Director in charge of Client development and corporate communications. He is responsible for business development across all of the U.S., as well as global business development that is U.S. based. He is also responsible for managing Carat’s external voice and presence.
Prior to Carat, Mark was with Hill Holliday for 13 years, where he managed the Mass Affluent segment across both the Bank of America and Merrill Lynch brands. He also managed the Dell Enterprise account, and led the Relationship Marketing practice for the Agency.
Robert serves as CMO, Carat US, where he leads all aspects of marketing as well as the agencies’ thought leadership and eminence agenda. Robert also serves in a senior leadership role across Dentsu Aegis Network, North America focused on digital transformation and talent.
Prior to joining Carat, Robert served as Global Leader, Agency Services for IBM iX, overseeing the strategy, creative, digital and design disciplines around the world. In this role, Robert led over 3,500 practitioners in 38 IBM iX Studios across the globe, working with clients to explore how applied creativity and business design impact their products and customer relationships. In 2017, Robert was named a to PRWeek’s Power List.
Robert joined IBM as VP, Global Digital Marketing, where he led a global community of over 800 digital marketing professionals focused on content engagement, search, social, mobile, digital experience and performance media. In addition, he was co-leader of the IBM Digital Services Group - an internal marketing services organization delivering solutions in digital strategy, content creation, web production and data services.
He previously served as Global Managing Director at WPP leading the integrated marketing services business for InterContinental Hotels Group, one of WPP’s largest global client relationships. During his tenure at WPP, he also served as COO of Ogilvy & Mather South and Head of CRM for Ogilvy, North America.
Robert began his career working in the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives for a legislator from suburban Philadelphia. He now lives in Westfield, NJ with his wife and two children.
Angela is a 20-plus year marketing veteran who has established major Fortune 500 companies as category leaders in the digital marketing space. Angela's focus has been empowering companies to harness emerging digital technologies to scale their businesses and drive marketing strategies. She has successfully built dynamic, cross-functional teams of industry experts to provide clients with the strong foundational support needed to allow them to confidently take advantage of the most cutting-edge technologies and creative offerings.
In 2015, Angela joined Dentsu Aegis Network as the Global Product Lead for the General Motors (GM) account. In this role, she integrated and aligned the full breadth of the Dentsu Aegis Network’s capabilities—from programmatic media and social, to mobile and data disciplines—to effectively serve the unique needs of GM's business goals across 50 markets.
Prior to joining Dentsu Aegis Network, Angela served as CEO at Ansible, Interpublic Group's (IPG) full-service mobile agency.
As Chief Operating Officer, Louisa is responsible for the agency’s digital strategy, product and automation agenda. Louisa leads the digital transformation of the agency by adopting and embracing new technologies that are disrupting the media ecosystem, with a focus on integrating capabilities such as data sciences, AI, machine learning and block chain.
Prior to joining Carat’s leadership team, Louisa served as the Chief Digital Officer for Amplifi, Dentsu Aegis Network, overseeing digital activation, ad operations and investment and works closely with agency partner executives and client leaders to deliver first-class digital solutions.
In 2010, Louisa joined Dentsu Aegis Network as the Global Chief Commercial Officer for Amnet, Dentsu Aegis Network’s global programmatic group. As a founding member of the team, she developed the Amnet business across 13 territories in EMEA before taking on the global role in London.
Louisa’s passion and “move the dial” mentality have led her to become a highly respected industry thought leader. Her broad experience working across publishers, broadcaster and ad technology companies (CNET, AOL/ADTECH, BSkyB) allow her to address topics across the digital advertising eco-system.
Now based in New York, when she’s not immersed in all things digital, you will likely find her at the nearest tennis court advising Novak Djokovic on how to improve his backhand.
