FUTURE PROOF

At Carat, we believe that taking our social and environmental responsibility seriously will help us redefine media. This is because in today’s world our clients, our people and consumers alike are motivated by concerns beyond a narrow economic one. 

The vision for our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, Future Proof, is to not only become a more responsible business, but also to inspire positive action by everyone we come into contact with and together redefine the value of media. Future Proof means doing the right thing in our day-today business. We have the scope and reach to make a positive impact on society using the power of advertising. 

We want to play an active role in strengthening our communities and in preserving the environment where we operate. Here are some examples of how we are working with the community in Leeds.

DAN North Run
Along with colleagues from our Manchester office, members of Carat Leeds have donned their running gear and taken part in the Great Manchester Run, the largest 10k in Europe, to raise money for local organisation Street Support. Drawing support from both Dentsu Aegis Network offices, we've managed to raise fantastic sums of money, helping make a real difference to those it supports.

Baking for a Cause
We firmly believe that we can have our cake and eat it; so we do! Whilst the star bakers amongst us showcase their amazing baking skills the rest of us dig in, raising money for the great causes we choose to support, from Macmillan to SAFFA the armed forces charity to The Children's Heart Surgery Fund.

Giving at Christmas
We're all agreed that Christmas is truly a time of giving, that's why we join Dentsu Aegis Network in raising money to support those who need it the most – from wearing Christmas Jumpers in aid of Save the Children to collecting gifts for the Family Action Toy Appeal, we make sure we do our bit for those less fortunate. 

The Code
The Code is a network wide initiative that brings together the power of our people across our network to make a positive impact on society and the next generation of talent. We share our own experiences, enthusiasm and expertise to inspire future talent. Find out more about The Code here.
