Michael has been part of the Carat family for 6 years, having more recently held the role of CEO, Carat USA.
Prior to joining Carat, Michael spent 14 years with Mindshare, with his most recent position being President, Client Services. He played a central role in the agency’s growth and success, including setting the vision for a number of key functions: digital, multi-cultural, new business, corporate communications and promotions.
In 2019 he was awarded AdWeek's Media Executive of the Year.
Phil is responsible for leading key Global clients at Carat, ensuring that we deliver first class strategic thinking and client service whilst driving innovation and growth within our client organisations.
Prior to joining Carat, Phil held senior roles at Google in both the UK and USA, primarily leading Global agency partnerships and building a Global network to service the agencies, increasing revenue across all Google products.
Phil is a huge sports fan, he enjoys running and surfing but especially football which he plays, coaches and watches far too much of!
Fiona has been with Carat since 2005, where she joined as Global Account Director, following eight years at WPP. She was a key part of the adidas Group global consolidation pitch in 2006 and went on to lead the Reebok business across EMEA, plus established a global hub for the client in Boston. As Dentsu Aegis Network’s relationship with the adidas Group diversified, Fiona spent a period of time in Isobar before moving into the role of Global Client President of the adidas Group business across Dentsu Aegis, led out of Carat. Fiona subsequently moved from Global into Carat UK where she led client development, before moving back into a global role as Network Development Officer and now Chief Marketing Officer.
Fabrice leads the Dentsu Aegis Network agency’s intelligence arm, which is made up of M1, a people-based data platform, and more than 4,500 data science, analytics and technology specialists. Working with talent across Dentsu Aegis Network, Fabrice develops services that transform consumer and marketing data into insights that drive business outcomes.
He was formerly Senior Vice President and Chief Data Officer at AccorHotels.
Sean brings over 20 years' senior experience ranging from roles in both full service and media agencies, and has led both local market planning departments and a global strategy team. He has also led research and analytics teams as part of an overall strategy offering.
Prior to joining Carat, Sean was Global Head of Products & Strategy at Zenith, and previously holding senior roles at Walker Media and Mediacom, where he worked with global brands including L’Oreal, Essity, Sky and Shell. He is a truly global operator with experience with brands across industries in CPG, Telecommunication and Energy.
Stephen ensures that we articulate our Redefining Media proposition and our ability to create better business value from media to help us attract new clients and extend our relationships with existing partners.
Business Development drives a substantial amount of Carat’s R&D, with many of the products and tools we use day in day out on clients being initiated during pitches.
Stephen began his work life at The Economist, which included three happy years working in Germany. Stephen enjoyed roles at Vizeum and Aegis Media, played a key role in the Post-Merger Office (following Dentsu’s acquisition of Aegis), before returning to Carat to run global business development and marketing. He is never happier that running a global pitch, bringing different countries together around a common goal. Despite being a passionate lover of London, he finds everywhere else is more interesting, which comes in handy in a global role.
Nick is responsible for some of Carat’s global client relationships.
Nick has worked in international media for over 15 years, working for the likes of Publicis Group, BBJ and Dentsu Aegis Network. In that time, clients have included Volkswagen Group, Microsoft, The Walt Disney Company and Kellogg’s.
Whilst at Carat, Nick has worked for clients such as Kellogg’s, Philips and Diageo, overseeing over 64 countries, across 3 regions. Nick has also led a number of successful international pitches.
In his spare time, Nick enjoys running.
Sylvain is responsible for key global client relationships within Carat.
He has extensive experience in helping global blue-chip brands navigate the fast changing media landscape. Having worked both agency and client side, Sylvain brings a unique perspective on the role media can play in driving business outcomes.
Sylvain has worked at a broad range of agencies, receiving multiple awards for the work he has undertaken for clients during his 20+ year career.
When not on a plane or travelling to a new destination, Sylvain enjoys spending time with his family, motorbikes and photography.
