One suggestion Ashley Earnshaw has for the traditional broadcasters' programmatic futures would be to come together with programmatic, not segment it.
"I think it's really important for them to be pioneering in that space," he says. "It's a shame they haven't done it as a group, but the programmatic thing will happen, it just depends how much of the inventory they can put in there, and the scale, and whether it's compelling for advertisers."
