Carat today announced the appointment of Martin Boot as General Manager of Carat Qatar and Kuwait

Boot will have a double reporting line to Ramzi Haddad, newly promoted Managing Director UAE & Lower Gulf and Michael Nederlof, CEO Dentsu Aegis Network MENA.  In this newly-created position, Boot will be responsible for developing, driving and executing Carat’s strategy across these key growth markets for the business. Based out of Kuwait, he will be responsible for Carat’s newly fully owned office in Kuwait and the transition of existing business from Dubai to a new office in Qatar.

Boot’s previous positions include Business Development Director and Regional Account Director for Publicis Group Worldwide in Dubai as well as Business Director roles for WPP group in Europe. More recently he has worked on a consultancy basis for brands and agencies such as The Thought Factory, PIM Bahrain, Next Generation Caravans and The Commercial Bank of Qatar.  Throughout his career, he has managed some of largest global clients across various markets and industries, including
BAT, CBQ, Ford, Hewlett-Packard, Unilever, Vodafone and Zurich Financial Services.

As General Manager, Boot has been tasked with ensuring full business continuity in Kuwait and Qatar as the business is transitioned to new management. His responsibilities will be to maintain and enhance service to existing business in both markets, using his experience to improve integration and work flow through best practice.
