Carat Manchester Launches Media Apprenticeship Campaign for The Manchester College
To celebrate the start of National Apprenticeship Week on 14th March, we have teamed up with The Manchester College to offer one lucky contestant the opportunity to live a week in the life of a creative and media apprentice by working with some of Manchester’s leading creative employers.
Starting at Key 103, the competition winner will come into our own Carat Manchester office, before spending a day at the MEN newspaper and finishing up at one of Manchester’s most exciting creative agencies, thisisLDA. In just one week, they will have gained valuable training and insight into multiple areas of the industry working with specialists in radio, print, advertising, digital and creative.
Apprenticeships are thriving in Manchester, and Carat are helping The Manchester College to promote the positive impact that apprenticeships can have on individuals, businesses and the wider economy. Manchester has the largest creative and digital sector outside London and apprenticeships in this industry give young people the opportunity to gain the necessary skills, experience and knowledge to succeed in a growing marketplace.
All budding apprentices need the right tools, so there’s also a chance for an additional winner to get an iPad Air 2 so they can hit the ground running with their future career.
