As an Account Manager you will take a lead role in planning and managing integrated media campaigns, ensuring clients experience the highest service levels. You will provide advice to clients on competitor activity and innovations in their marketplace, working with senior staff to provide strategic and justified media proposals.

JOB TITLE: Account Executive 

REPORTS TO: Account Manager

DEPARTMENT: Client Services

The purpose of this role is to provide support and assistance in managing the client’s business and to keep day to day activities running smoothly. May supervise an assistant.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Works collaboratively with colleagues and (where appropriate) local markets across DAN to meet client service needs
  • Uses research tools to provide insights and supports on planning as needed
  • Reviews client performance data to influence planning and forecasting, identifying anomalies and working with the manager to resolve potential issues
  • Interrogates client briefs to understand the core objectives
  • Coordinates activity ensuring projects and plans deliver against objectives and on time/budget, and schedules meetings
  • Connects with key day-to-day client contacts to support delivery of communication and service, and updates plans accordingly
  • Works with manager to organise and present new client induction to Dentsu Aegis and brand
  • Takes ownership for updating and distributing weekly reports, ensuring specialist team delivery against any client actions
  • Supports account Manager and wider team with general client liaison and administration
  • Oversees assistants on ad hoc queries
  • Ensures quality control of client-facing plans/reports/invoicing
  • Works with assistant to manage financial processes
  • Pulls data for auditors
  • Works with manager to manage assistant, ensuring sufficient training and development

JOB TITLE: Media Assistant

REPORTS TO: Account Manager

DEPARTMENT: Client Services

In this new era of media, Carat is changing the game. We are redefining the value of media to build our client's businesses. Attached to a client services team, the Graduate Media Assistant's main function will be to assist more senior executives with campaign preparation and administration, analysis and assisting in the media planning and buying function under guidance.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactive support role for team: most specifically Executive and Manager
  • Understands the role of TAL and CCS to effectively build audiences
  • Uses research tools to pull data and insights as requested by the team. Provides
    supporting work for planning processes.
  • Collates data for competitor reports, media industry trends, live research, client
    presentations
  • Collates client performance data monitoring performance vs. forecast, identifying
    anomalies and escalating issues
  • Actions small campaign requests with supervision
  • Supports team in day-to-day administration of client account e.g. keep folders and
    files up to date and manages client status reports
  • Supports financial delivery: Raises POs and keeps PO sheets up to date and accurate
  • Understands client terms of business, ensuring accurate media schedules and
    correct invoices are supplied to client
  • Chases invoices to ensure prompt payment
  • Organises meetings and room set up, materials, distributes agenda, attends and
    minutes meetings
  • Attendance at all relevant training, and media owner presentations

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Builds and owns relationships with mid-level clients and industry stakeholders on a day to day basis. Is a trusted advisor, owning mid-level client relationships
  • Deepens the client relationship to ensure retention and growth
  • Effectively manage the team and resource; ensure they build strong relationships with their counterparts to deliver outstanding client service
  • Creates the conditions for great work and champions great work
  • Deep understanding of clients products and services to enable the delivery of innovative, ambitious, strategic and commercial plans which are also effective ensuring that business targets and KPI’s are met
  • Immerses self and team in clients’ business: understanding their challenges, objectives, the external economic environment, markets they operate in, competitive threats and relevant partner agencies; knows their business model, how it is performing and what success looks like
  • Uses historic campaign performance and future media trends (e.g. mobile, paid social, content) to stimulate future thinking strategies
  • Leading clients digital strategies highlighting opportunities for digital growth
  • Understands client business plans, work with senior account leadership to ensure business runs profitably, updating forecasts & overall responsibility for debt management

JOB TITLE: Publishing & Display Manager

REPORTS TO: Associate Director

This role includes both the planning & buying of Publishing and Display Media.

  • Have a highly detailed and up to date knowledge of the evolving media marketplace.
  • Manage self and team in the learning and understanding of the digital publishing market place and processes involved in digital planning and buying
  • Establish strong relationships with media owners.
  • Develop new Display opportunities for your clients including partnerships.
  • Manage the Display and Publishing buying process of the team to ensure succinct delivery of your plans including quality and value management.

JOB TITLE: Biddable Account Manager

REPORTS TO: Associate Director 

DEPARTMENT: Government Media Team 

This role includes both the planning & buying of Biddable Media, including Social and Search.

We look for curious individuals that challenge what was done yesterday to drive our clients forward and lead our people with ambition and dynamism. The Biddable Account Manager will need to deliver first class implementation in order to deliver incredible performance for our clients.

The Government Media Team runs its own Biddable activation team, with each member of the team working across Search, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn. About two thirds government’s biddable spend is on social platforms, with the other third on search.

The Biddable Account Manager will help drive forward client’s biddable strategies by combining client, industry, and market knowledge across a number of clients in order to fulfil the client’s biddable and overall digital media marketing objectives. The purpose of this role is to lead the day to day relationship with the client, be responsible for the implementation of strategy and performance of all accounts against KPI’s.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develops account strategy in partnership with client and Associate Director and is accountable for the execution of strategy and achievement of KPI’s
  • Accountable for the delivery of all projects to agreed deadlines
  • Has ultimate accountability for pacing and managing account budgets
  • Ensures that reporting is delivered on time and to an exceptional standard – including PCAs
  • Leads daily relationships with clients and manages expectations
  • Main point of contact for Search and Social agency teams
