P&G recognizes Carat with fifth consecutive global supplier excellence award


Procter & Gamble recognized Carat among what it called its top-performing global business partners for the past year.


Carat won P&G's "External Business Partner Excellence Award" for consistent high performance. The packaged goods giant has 75,000 external vendors, suppliers and agencies that it works with and some 500 were evaluated for the award. Just 1% actually received it.

Carat was recognized for North American Planning.

"This recognition is a tremendous milestone and accomplishment for the Carat team," said Jackie Rosen, SVP, Managing Director P&G. "Our focus on delivering innovative communications plans that redefine the business value of media continues to be honored across the entire client organization. Huge congratulations to our team." 

Will Swayne, Carat's Global Client President for P&G added "Congratulations to the Carat N. America P&G Planning team on their 5th consecutive Excellence Award! P&G's expectations have never been higher, so to continually exceed them is an outstanding achievement and unmatched by any other marketing partner."

Speaking at the partner awards event last Thursday in Cincinnati, A.G. Lafley, P&G's chairman, president and CEO, told those gathered that "P&G's ask of you is that you partner with us on innovation. Partner with us on productivity. Let's work together as partners to create value for each other, for consumers and for our industry." He shared examples of how several of the companies present had worked with P&G to bring new innovations to market, such as Pampers.

Stew Atkinson, Chief Purchasing Officer said, "As we move the business forward in a structured, strategic way, our external business partners will continue to play a crucial role in helping us serve the world's consumers."
