We are committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of all individuals with whom we interact and to fostering user confidence in online advertising. Accordingly, we support and promote relevant industry guidelines including those established by the Interactive Advertising Bureau and the CAP Code on Online Behavioural Advertising. We participate in the European Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA) self-regulatory programme and adhere to the EDAA Principles for Online Behavioural Advertising.
We provide services for its clients such as digital media services and purchase of inventory within ad exchanges and other media sources (Services).
For details about how we collect and use information that is collected directly on this website (as opposed to through the Services) please visit the section entitled “Information we collect on this website.”
Information We Collect Through our Services
The information collected through advertisements we manage on behalf of our clients is not personally identifiable information (PII).PII generally refers to identifying information such as a specific individual’s name, mailing address, phone number or e-mail address. However, certain countries may have a different interpretation as to what constitutes PII, for example see the section entitled “Europe” below. We do not collect sensitive information, such as your political or religious beliefs, ethnic background, sexual preference, health or any other.
In some European countries an IP address is considered PII by applicable law. If we conduct business in such countries and we know that you are located in such a country, we will treat your IP address as PII and comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws relating to it.
Non-Personal Information Collected by our Services
When conducting Services on behalf of its clients, we collect non-personally identifiable information (“Non-PII”) which anonymously identifies users that we may have interacted with before. For instance, by using Non-PII, we may be able to identify whether a web browser has previously been served with an advertisement that we launched on behalf of a client. In the context of Non-PII, whenever we refer to ‘you’ or ‘yours,’ please remember that we may be referring to a user’s browser profile and not an identifiable person since we do not know the identity of the user of an internet enabled device at any particular time.
We collect and use Non-PII to offer a range of Services to our advertiser clients. By collecting Non-PII regarding your web browsing, usage or interactions with advertisements, our clients are able to show you the most useful and relevant online advertisements across numerous websites, and to prevent excessive or repeated deliveries of the same advertisements. For example, if a user browser’s profile indicates an interest in car options, then our Services may help our clients deliver interest-based online advertisements to that user about a particular type of car. In addition, Non-PII is also used for the purpose of research and analysis. If you would like to learn more about online behavioural advertising practices you can visit the following websites: www.iab.net/privacymatters and www.aboutads.info.
The nature of Non-PII collected may include information such as the type of internet browser used by an online user, the type of computer operating system used, the domain name of the websites visited before and after viewing an advertisement, and information related to websites and web pages a user is viewing when an advertisement is shown.
