Adam Marshall to join Carat Perth as MD, as Alan Matthews retires


Carat today announces that Adam Marshall has been appointed to the role of Managing Director of its Perth operation.

Reporting to Carat CEO Simon Ryan, Adam will oversee the Perth office, replacing industry veteran Alan Matthews, as he heads into retirement.

In a career that has spanned the UK, Australia and Singapore, Adam has worked with Y&R, OMD and Initiative in London.   In 2006, Adam moved to Australia and launched Maxus Perth as joint Managing Partner becoming Managing Director in 2008 before being appointed Managing Director of OMD WA.

Adam moved to Singapore in 2013 to become Head of Trading Asia Pacific for Mindshare.  In this capacity Adam is responsible for a large portfolio of clients and leads a multinational team of over 1000 media buyers located across 16 countries covering the fastest growing region in the world.

Adam has also been Chairman of the WA Advertising Charity; Oasis, Champion of the Perth Advertising and Design Club as well as a guest lecturer at ECU, Curtin and Murdoch Universities.

Adam will start with Carat this June.
